  • Shining Stars Youth Award

Image We all know how much our young people love scouting, and we know the skills for life they learn will help prepare them for their future. Our Shining Stars Youth Award is for our members, aged 4 to 17 years old, (from 18yrs the fall into adult category), that deserve recognition for their outstanding achievement. The award is a sew on badge (as above), that can be worn on their uniform above where the right breast pocket is. To nominate a young person for this award please see below some suggested examples of what we will award them for: Going above and beyond on a weekly basis Extraordinary fund raising for the Group/Unit Persevering through adversity Providing exceptional support to a section through their Young Leader role This is not an exhaustive list We cannot wait to see our young people being recognised with this award!
