Organisation

Our organisation function provides strategic leadership, line management, incident management and inspiration to lead volunteers. It also manages the day-to-day provision of growth and development and support services, and ensures our wider county team is fully developed, organised, and focussed on supporting programme delivery.

Governance

Our County Board of Trustees is an important part of the day-to-day running of our county and exists to support the Lead Volunteer for South & South East London Scouts in meeting the responsibilities of the appointment and to provide support for our county team and districts. The board meets bi-monthly and is committed to being a exemplar of good practice in governance.

Our people team is responsible for developing and providing support on a range of topics that sit outside of our programme.

Places Team

Our Places Team is led by the Jason Hagan, out Places Lead, and supports the management, strategic approach and organisational development of scouting across the county at county and district level.
