Are you a Scout or Explorer looking for a challenge? Do you want to meet people from across the globe, represent South London at the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Poland, and be part of something unforgettable?

The journey starts right here — at our Selection Weekend!

What’s the Selection Weekend?

Over two exciting days, you’ll:

• Take part in team challenges and fun activities
• Get to know Scouts and Explorers from across South London
• Show us what makes you ready for this once-in-a-lifetime experience
• Camp out at The Fort and live a little taste of the Jamboree spirit

We’re looking for 36 brilliant young people to join our Jamboree Unit heading to Gdańsk, Poland in summer 2027. Could one of them be you?

Who can apply?

To take part in the Selection Weekend, you must:

✅ Be a Scout or Explorer in South London Scouts
🎂 Be born between 30 July 2009 and 30 July 2013
🌍 Be up for an international adventure of a lifetime

What is the World Scout Jamboree?

The World Scout Jamboree is one of the biggest Scouting events on the planet — bringing together over 50,000 young people from almost every country in the world. It’s a celebration of peace, friendship, and fun — packed with activities, culture, and memories you’ll never forget.

The next Jamboree takes place from 30 July to 8 August 2027 in Poland, and South London Scouts will be there!
