Four 'ingredients' to help young members successfully move on from your section to their new section

There are four 'ingredients' to achieving successful moving on for all the sections:

Running balance exciting and inclusive programmes, which are well communicated.
Good administration of records, with active sharing between the sections of your group or the scout troop and explorer scout unit.
Strong communication between leaders, parents/carers and young people through linking events, group leaders meetings and conversations with parents/carers.
Building familiarity between young people and adults in the sections of your group and your local explorer scout unit.
