Group Scout Leaders, Assistant Group Scout Leaders, District Commissioners, Deputy District Commissioners, District Youth Commissioners, County Commissioner, Deputy County Commissioners, County Youth Commissioner, District Scouters, County Scouters, Scout Active Support Managers, County Training Managers, Local Training Managers (depending on role description), District Explorer Scout Commissioners, District Scout Network Commissioners, Assistant District Commissioners, Assistant County Commissioners 

This is a mandatory module for those who hold a manager or supporter role in scouting. It covers the key information about your role, areas of responsibility and where you can find further information and support.

The training covers:

  -  Role responsibilities and responsibilities of those they
      line manage or work closely with
  -  Six areas of leadership and management
  -  Managing time and personal skills
  -  Ensuring quality programme

Please note:  this module requires validation by a training advisor

This module produces a certificate at the end of the learning.  You will need to print or screen shot this and pass it on to your training advisor who will be able to validate the module on Compass.

If you are unable to print your certificate for any reason please save it as a .png file or take a screen shot of the page. Please do not save the web link as an alternative to printing the certificate, as this will expire once you leave the browser and your certificate will be lost.
