Zoom workshop Planning for success (Covid recovery)

It’s an exciting time as across the county our scout groups and explorer scout units are returning to face-to-face meetings and we look toward more and more restrictions being lifted along the path to the scouting we are used to.

This said, it’s been a difficult time, and we have received a number of requests for support and advice with to the challenges being faced by groups as a result of COVID-19.

We want to do all we can to support you during this recovery period, so we are holding a workshop in partnership with the association’s regional services team.

The session is aimed at everyone in your leadership and support teams and covers a wide range of topics, which includes:

• assessing your current position

• challenges to restarting 

• making the most of your people 

• re-engaging families 

• building your programme 

• filling the gaps 

• planning for the long term  

• fundraising 

• creating your action plan

 The workshop will take place using Zoom from 7:30pm on Wednesday 7th July 2021. The session will last between 1 to 2 hours.

We really hope you can join us, this is a great opportunity for us to come together as a county, look at some of the key challenges and possible solutions we face across South London and support each other by sharing great ideas and success.
