Scouting London Marathon 2022

The South London Scouts “Scouting London Marathon 2022” will be held on Sunday 2nd October 2022. There will be two distances - a half, and a full marathon distance. The event is open to South London Scouts, Scouts and Explorer teams of 4 to 6. We may open this up to others if support allows. The route will be from central London heading west along the river path and round Richmond deer park. It will be 95% off road, fairly sheltered, easy to navigate and a great opportunity to see bits of our beautiful city we often miss. This is also great practice for those looking to do the #Southern50 next February.

This is a great opportunity for you to raise money for a charity of you choice, whether that be a Jamboree, your Scout Group, or a local charity close to your heart. We will obviously be looking for leaders / parents to support this event.
