We are thrilled to offer all Groups and Units in South London Scouts the opportunity to camp for free at our county centre and campsite – The Fort.

About The Fort
Located at the top of Grange Lane in Dulwich, SE21 7LH, The Fort is cherished for its excellent camping facilities and proximity to central London. Just a 15-minute train journey into London Victoria Station, it provides easy access to local attractions such as the Dulwich Picture Gallery, Horniman Museum, and Crystal Palace National Sports Centre.
Whether you're planning a patrol, section, group, or unit camp, The Fort caters to all with its camping spaces and high-standard indoor accommodations (which is available at the published South London Scouts rates).

Our simple T&Cs for free camping at The South London Scout Centre - The Fort available to all Groups and Units in South London Scouts:
Free camping is:
- available from 1st April to 31st September (excluding bank holidays)
- available for groups and units to hold section events (Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scout, Explorers, Network)
- for camping only (buildings are available at the published South London Scouts rates)
- subject to availability – camping space to offered on a first come first served basis
- Campers from sections outside South London Scouts that are camping with Groups or Units who are members of South London Scouts are subject to our published fees
