South London Jamboree Unit 33 Take On 33km Thames Challenge
Our team of young people and volunteers from South London Scouts Jamboree Unit are about to take on an otterly ridiculous 33km walk along the Thames Path. A challenge that matches the width of the county, walking from Bexley District to Wandsworth District! All to raise money for their journey to the World Scout Jamboree.
What the fundraising is for
All funds raised through this challenge will go into the Unit 33 general fund.
That means it supports the whole unit — helping cover the shared costs of the Jamboree training events and the overall experience!
Earning it the hard way
Instead of just asking for donations, they’re putting in the effort themselves — taking on a proper challenge and going the distance (no otter option).
There’ll be tired legs, questionable morale at times, and a lot of snacks… but like a proper otter raft, they’ll stick together and see it through.

Whether it’s a small donation or something bigger, it all feeds into the unit’s journey and genuinely makes a difference.
33km. One day. One team.
They’re going all in — if you can, back them.
They’ll be otterly grateful. 🦦💜
