Internal Communication Team Leader / Team Members
This is an exciting opportunity to help us lead and deliver engaging internal communications to our adult members to support the delivery of amazing scouting across the county.
We are looking to build a team that can focus on our audience needs and advise our senior stakeholders to create an effective communication framework across predominantly digital channels. Our internal comms team will take a leading role in building our communications plan.
You will work closely with our teams across the county to create and share clear, useful channel-appropriate content.
By liaising closely with our Development & Volunteer Support service and the Team Leaders of our teams across the wider County Team you will be able to stay close to our key messaging and changing priorities.
The role involves:
Lead and deliver our communications strategies
Evaluate content performance and audience feedback to improve how we communicate with our audiences through digital channels by understanding their priorities, the channels they prefer and the specific needs of different Scouting roles
Help create clear, easy-to-understand content that reflects our Scout brand and values
Lead the development of targeted, personalised campaigns using email software
managing large amounts of personal data sets while ensuring GDPR compliance
