County contingent to the Kent International Jamboree - KIJ2025

As we look forward to our new unified county we want to be able to support as many young people as possible to experience the wider Scout family on an international Jamboree.

The County international team is looking to facilitate a County contingent to Kent International Jamboree (KIJ) which will run from 2nd - 9th August 2025. We are opening this up to all Scout and Explorer units who are interested, hoping that those units who find it more difficult to attend these events due to low unit numbers can come together as one contingent.

KIJ have not currently published a cost for the event but based on fees for other events we expect an all-in cost of around £450 - £500 per person.

For this trip we are also looking for a contingent leader or leaders who will take overall charge of the trip and liaise with other leaders, young people, parents and also the County finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who maybe considering taking on a role in the future as part of the County World Scout Jamboree leadership team or alternatively a future international role. You will be fully supported by the County International team.
