Module 03: Tools for the role (section leaders)

This training is for:

section leaders, assistant section leaders and section assistants. 

This is a mandatory module for those who hold a leadership role. It covers the basic information on the individual’s role or area of responsibility and some practical help to get the individual started in the role.

The training covers:

  -  Features of the section
  -  Roles with in the section
  -  Using activities and games
  -  Youth shaped scouting
  -  Promoting positive behaviour

Please note: this module requires validation by a training advisor

This module produces a certificate at the end of the learning.  You will need to print or screen shot this and pass it on to your training advisor who will be able to validate the module on Compass.

If you are unable to print your certificate for any reason please save it as a .png file or take a screen shot of the page. Please do not save the web link as an alternative to printing the certificate, as this will expire once you leave the browser and your certificate will be lost. If your certificate will not load and only shows a blank screen please take a screenshot of the final page prior to selecting the certificate as proof of learning.
