Our training code
We’re committed to providing a welcoming, friendly, and above all, safe experience for everyone that takes part in our training events.
By registering for our training and by attending sessions or weekend courses, you are agreeing to adhere to our event terms, code of conduct, the key policies of the scout association and the five core scout values: integrity, care, respect, belief and cooperation. I’ll seek to exemplify these values during the event.
Our training opportunities are designed for adult scout volunteers in South London (members of South London Scouts) and the wider London scout region.
Our training opportunities are for volunteers in scouting over 18 years only.
While taking part in our training opportunities we expect you to:
- take full responsibility for anything you write, say, or share as part of this event
- post and engage in the event using your real name only
- be respectful of others’ personal information
- be respectful to others ensuring not to engage in bullying or
abusive behaviour
- to not use the event as a platform to discredit or defame specific individuals
- exemplify the five core scout values during the event.
To ensure that the event remains relevant and accessible to participants, the event organisers reserve the right to remove any posts or other activity, including ceasing engagement in any session, at any time and without prior notification.
