County Leadership Team

Our County Leadership Team is lead by the County Commissioner and coordinates the work and support provide by the County and the County Leadership Team.

The County Leadership Team is made up of:

1. County Commissioner

2. County Youth Commissioner

3. Deputy County Commissioner responsible for People

4. Deputy County Commissioner responsible for Programme

5. Deputy County Commissioner responsible for Perception

6. District Commissioners for Wandsworth

7. District Commissioner for Lambeth

8. District Commissioner for Southwark

9. District Commissioner for Lewisham

10. District Commissioner for Royal Greenwich

11. The County Chairman 

12. The County Development Officer

The role of the County Leadership Team is to ensure strategic leadership of scouting in the county and to provide support at all levels.

This teams overarching responsibilities include:

• the day-to-day management of the support and services provided by the county

• the management of scouting at county level

• the management of scouting in each of our districts (led by the appropriate District Commissioners)

• ensuring that we actively work towards our national strategy to 2023 'Skills for life'

• sharing success, great ideas and good practice

• the county strategic plan

• discussion of and decisions relating to the growth and development of scouting across the county

• the support provided to our District Commissioners

• ensuring effective planning and cooperation between our scout districts
• monitoring the projects and workstreams currently being worked on by the county development service
