The UK Youth Forum: Shaping the Future of Scouting
The UK Youth Forum is all about putting young people in the driver’s seat! This groundbreaking series of events is designed to listen to and act on the ideas of young people across the Scouts movement.
Together, we’ll explore ideas, exchange solutions, and shape the future of Scouting for generations to come. The UK Youth Forum plays a key part in ensuring young people have a voice at all levels of Scouts.

South London Scouts: Representing Our Voices
We’re looking for an incredible team of young people to represent South London Scouts at this exciting national event! This is your chance to bring the perspective of our vibrant and diverse community to a national platform, ensuring South London Scouts have a seat at the table for key decisions shaping the future of the movement.
Our South London Delegation
Our South London team will consist of:
- 2 Scouts (aged 10.5 - 14)
- 2 Explorers (aged 14 - 18)
- 1 Networker (aged 18 - 25)
- Our County Youth Lead
This team will play a vital role in representing South London Scouts’ ideas, ensuring every voice is heard, and bringing back key insights and actions for our local groups.
Join Us at the Oxford UK Youth Forum
We’re thrilled to announce that our UK Youth Forum event will be held in Oxford on:
📅 Date: Saturday, 15th March 2025
🕙 Time: An all-day event - We will be meeting in Central London early morning and returning in the evening
📍 Location: University of Oxford Examinations School, Oxford
This event is part of an exciting series aimed at bringing together young people from across the UK to share ideas, collaborate, and shape the future of Scouting.
What to Expect
- 4–5 Workshop-Style Sessions: Hands-on workshops to inspire collaboration and creativity.
- A Simple Lunch and Plenty of Breaks: Connect with others in a relaxed and friendly environment.
- Opportunities to Speak Up: Join discussions to help shape Scouting’s strategy and future.
- Networking and Collaboration: Meet Scouts, Explorers, Networkers, and volunteers from across the UK.
