During my early Scouting years I attended Cubs, Scouts and Venture Scouts (Now know as Explorers) at 3rd Ware in Hertfordshire for more than 10 years, this is where my love of the outdoors and passion for Scouting began.

When our son was old enough we signed him up immediately to Beavers at 8th Lambeth scout group, It was then I got fully involved back into Scouting. I took the role of ACSL which I still have today. I completed my Wood badge and was looking to get more involved with South London Scouts. When I saw there was an exciting new team being created I got in touch with Darren and now here we are!

I have a background in social media, marketing and design which is why I am very excited about my new role as Deputy County Commissioner responsible for Perception, which will include building an internal communication between groups and assisting them with promoting our brand values, how we deliver a positive external message and ultimately ensuring all our communities know where we are and how to access our Scouting.
