The adventure of scouting: from home!

With our weekly beaver, cub, scout and explorer meetings currently on hold we ‘ve put together lots of badges, links and fun activities that can we done at home.

We would love to see what you have been up to so why not post your photes on our county facebook page...

We know that the coming days and weeks are going to be difficult for families across the UK. Scouts have always been active members of our communities and we know that now is no different.

As experts in developing skills and bringing new experiences to young people, we’d like to introduce The Great Indoors. We’ve pulled together over 100 existing activities from our programme planner that you can do with your children if they’re stuck at home.

Please remember - Some of the items listed will need adult help and supervision.

Doing an activity at home?

Scout badge finder is a great tool to find out if it contributes to a beaver, cub, scout or explorer badge.

If you have any questions about completing a badge, or you’re not sure about something, please contact your leaders and they will help you.

This special edition of Jamboree On The Internet (JOTI), is a safe space, connecting scouts from around the world at a time when many of us are at home, unable to attend school or scouting activities.

You can sign up for different activities throughout the weekend of 3rd April — from e-learning courses on health, well-being and online safety to learning about different cultures. You can play games and lead fun activities as well as doing what you can to support those in need. Let’s have each other’s back, support our friends, and make this world a little brighter. All resources are credited to their orginal designers and authors.
